Our new Electronic Health Record is live!

River Cities Interventional Pain Specialists launched eClinicalWorks (eCW) April 22, 2024, replacing Azalea. This new EHR has endless possibilities for us at RCIPS, with dozens of program plugins to reduce redundancy and bringing all of a patient’s information into one location.

While we’re excited for how ECW will help us manage all of our patients’ information, you might be wondering how this benefits you, the patient. All of your health records will be under one file, as well as your previous health care history can be imported into eClinicalWorks. If that’s not tangible enough for you, then meet eClinicalWorks’ patient portal, healow. This online patient portal can be easily accessed from your desktop computer, laptop, tablet or smart phone. With the ability to schedule appointments, request prescription refills, view your results and send the office messages, managing your healthcare and communicating with the office has never been easier.

RCIPS is pleased to offer our new secure Patient Portal providing you access to certain portions of your confidential medical record though a web-based link to our electronic medical record. The eClinicalWorks Patient Portal uses modern state of the art 3-tier technology and HTTP(s) standards, firewalls, passwords, restricted user access and encryption to protect your private health information. We believe this new addition will provide you with easier and more efficient access to your medical record while providing you a more enjoyable health care experience.

Who can use the patient portal?

The eClinicalWorks Patient Portal is available to all patients of healthcare providers who use the eClinicalWorks electronic health record system. This includes patients of primary care physicians, specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations.

How do you use the patient portal?

To use the eClinicalWorks Patient Portal, you will need to create an account. You can do this by visiting your provider’s website or by clicking on the “Create Account” link on the eClinicalWorks Patient Portal website.

Once you have created an account, you will be able to log in and access all of the features and resources that the portal has to offer.

Logging into the eClinicalWorks Patient Portal

The eClinicalWorks Patient Portal allows you to view your medical records, request prescription refills, schedule appointments, and communicate with your healthcare providers. Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to log in:

  1. Go to the eClinicalWorks Patient Portal website.
  2. Enter your login credentials. In the login fields, enter your username and password. If you haven’t already created an account, you can click on the “Create Account” link below the login fields.
  3. Click on the “Sign In” button.
  4. Review the security information. The first time you log in, you will be prompted to review the website’s security information. Please read this information carefully and click on the “Accept” button to proceed.
  5. You are now logged in to the eClinicalWorks Patient Portal! 

Once you are logged in, you can access a variety of features and resources, including:

  • Your medical records
  • Appointment scheduling
